IB exams

Boy, I haven't blogged in a long time. No thanks to IB exams. LOL.

These are the subjects that I took for IB:
1. English A1 HL
2. French ab initio
3. Economics HL
4. Business & Management HL
5. Mathematics SL
6. Physics SL
Compulsory subjects: TOK, CAS, EE

My main aim is to get at least a 35. My uncle wants me to aim for 40. So, we'll see what happen later on.

Now, my major exams are going on. The exam that will determine whether I'll be able to get to university or not. As I was surfing the Net, I discovered the IB marks breakdown given by the moderator on ibscrewed.net

The marks were already determined since 2003 and those were the standard marks and may change or may not change, depending on the discretion of the one with power to set the marks.
So, for my subjects, the breakdown is as follows:

3 - 32%
4 - 43%
5 - 57%
6 - 69%
7 - 80%

French ab initio:
3 - 32%
4 - 44%
5 - 57%
6 - 72%
7 - 86%

Economics HL:
3 - 30%
4 - 40%
5 - 52%
6 - 63%
7 - 74%

Business & Management HL:
3 - 26%
4 - 37%
5 - 49%
6 - 61%
7 - 72%

Mathematics SL:
3 - 29%
4 - 42%
5 - 56%
6 - 67%
7 - 79%

Physics SL:
3 - 28%
4 - 38%
5 - 49%
6 - 59%
7 - 70%

If anyone of you guys wanted any information on your respective subjects, you can ask me anytime. LOL. Now, I got to focus on the rest of the exams. LOL. I'll continue to blog when I have the time.

Oo ya, that doesn't mean that I can rest on my laurels any time soon. I still got to work hard for it. As this quote says: Hope for the best, expect the worst.
